EWE EFO was a fun story around making a box featuring a door on each side with more mechanisms behind each to solve. When all the moves are made, the wee EWE on top is removable and sent back home where its safe. As an side feature, once the puzzle is solved, the solver can loosen the brass nuts on top, remove the core from the top and base, and explore the inner workings!

When I learned about Bose Bluetooth speakers I knew what I was going to do. I would build an artsy take on the old Boom boxes or Ghetto blasters as I recall them being termed. It would keep the look of the old with the smooth sounds of the new technology, and all wireless! Snow Phoenix - A fun challenge provided by William Waite who supplied a vintage 34 key toy piano that I took apart and reused the musical tone rods from. The big hurdle was figuring out how to create a locking system based on the exact playing of the last 7 notes perfectly, any misstep would reset the mechanism. The ultimate goal was to find the hidden treasure within the piano chest!
